Berwick Tool Library
Run by Greener Berwick Zero Waste Hub Action Group
How does Berwick Tool Library work?
1.
Sign up as a member of the Tool Library and activate your account. Normally the cost will be £25 per year, but it is currently free as an introductory offer, while we build up our inventory of tools. All membership fees will go towards the upkeep of the Tool Library including rent, bills, insurance, etc. and will help us ensure it can continue in the future. Alternatively, log in if you are already a member.
2.
Once you are an active member, tool hire is completely free for the year, no matter how many tools you check out.
3.
You must reserve your tool in advance through our online catalogue.
4.
Collect your tool during your chosen Tool Library session. If it's your first time borrowing you will need to bring along a photo ID and proof of address, or just ID if you have borrowed before.
5.
Return your tool to us within 7 days during Tool Library opening hours. Need the tool for longer? Just extend your booking online.

Tools Donations Statement
Although we are often offered tools to be reused, we don’t have the capacity to accept all donations, as we have limited storage space. Therefore, donations will be considered in line with our Tools Donations Statement.
